MURA MINIS TEAM 4 TAKES THIRD PLACE IN TOURNAMENT

Milton-Union Rec Association Minis (G-ball) Team # 4 took Third Place this afternoon in the end of the season 2011 Cross County Tournament played at Lowry Complex this week. The game for Third Place was played today, Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 1pm. The boys played a great and hard-fought game, losing by one run to Arcanum Team #3.

Head Coach David Laycox, Assistant Coach Joe Borton and pitching Coach Bill Burns guided their team to victory throughout the tournament. Milton 4 was undefeated until yesterday when they lost to the also undefeated Arcanum #2 team.

Parents, Grandparents, family, friends and coaches alike are all very proud of our boys for bring home the Third Place trophies.

    Good Job boys we are very proud.  I cant believe even after breaking his nose before the game John still played.  All the boys did great and I heard Gabe got two double plays.
