Thank you Suzanne. It truly made for a wonderful Mother's Day. And I am sure my Mom and Dad were looking down on Mr. O'Neil and Mr. Beard and helping to guide the ring “home” to me. You should all feel a sense of pride in your classmate and each other as I can tell you have never forgotten the lessons you learned at Albertus Magnus, Mom would be proud to be a part of your class and this story. I am on the Reunion Committee for Albertus Magnus class of 65. At our last meeting, our Chairman, Bill O'Neil brought the news that an Albertus ring inscribed with the year 1965 and initials M.A.P. had been found in Ohio after he was contacted by Mr. Beard. There was only one person it could have belonged to and he was absolutely resolute about getting it back to Mari-Alice's family. We had all been saddened by the loss of such a sweet soul and will remember her at Mass on Oct 10th along with our other deceased classmates. Joy from the little miracle of reuniting Mari-Alice's ring with her daughter is spreading through our class, and adds a new dimension to the phrase “Albertus Reunion”. It reminds us that on some level, we have never been separated. This series of synchronicities, based in loving kindness reminds us of the invisible living thread that unites us all.
